A promise is promise.

In May the city has their annual River Festival, and there is always a carnival set up. The carnival is not associated with the Festival however, and their ticket prices are astronomical. Last year we went and then got in an found out Marissa wasn't big enough for any of the rides. So we wasted money on admission and ride tickets. This year, I didn't really want to have that experience and end up with her being very disappointed. So, I promised her in the fall we would go to the State Fair so she could ride the Ferris Wheel. After driving for about 45 minutes and spending an afternoon looking at the exhibits, and the animals and enjoying some of that ever so healthy food, we made it to the rides and she was very excited. I had forgotten how much heights can make me nervous in the end though we had a fun time and maybe we'll make it a tradition.
